SDCO Background:
The Support Development Capacity Organization (SDCO) is a non-governmental, non-political and non-for-profit organization, specialized in Capacity and development programs in Afghanistan. It is established in 2011 and registered with Ministry of Economic of Afghanistan in 2012. Its operational focus is in all the regions across the country. SDCO programs cover Economic Growth, Education (Building Skills of Universities and Schools students) Protect Human Rights, Building peaceful and democratic society, Support to Women, Encourage recreational activities, Agriculture, Emergency Response and Building Skills and Capacities to support.
During the strategic and planning process, the mission was to advance the programmatic focus on helping poor and vulnerable communities including women to safe guard their basic humanitarian rights in Afghanistan and adjust to bring some positive changes to regulate the live of Poor Afghan.
We have committed in mission for longstanding support and capacity building of individual in the communities to control their own future. We are proud of our novelties in community-based development and hope to build on them.
Though SDCO’s programs are diverse, they support achievement of a common goal: improving the lives standard of Afghans in need by empowering them to develop effective, innovative, realistic and lasting solutions that address social, economic and environmental challenges.

SDCO works closely with its beneficiaries to undertake best possible solution to their problems. To assure achievement of desired outcomes, agreed upon with sponsors, and attain organization goals.
Strategic issues variously assessed as part of the delivery process include: prioritized and identified by client and their stakeholders, providing high quality development programs for sustainability, identifying and targeting needy societies at community level and prioritizing their needs, adopting best practices and policies to ensure client/donors assets are not wasted, and associated client strategic goals are achieved and development strategies are well implemented.

Community Mobilization & Development
HOPES have plan to work at gross-level with Afghan communities to mobilize them for planning, training and education to make them capable to rebuild their communities and ensure the sustainability after being destroyed by the civil war, disputes and conflicts. SDCO Program intended to support the community participation through mobilization and help to classify community goals and priorities.
When the economic situation of communities is destroyed by civil war and divergence, they must be equipped to recover and rebuild their socio-economic condition through development program. HOPES works to help afghan community with income generation activities to generate small and medium business, train the community to find job which will stabile families and improve their socio economic condition.
If we can’t fine found from any Foundation SDCO implement the capacity program like Course, Training, and others capacity program from our development budget for a limit time.
SDCO have a department which is composed of women. The purpose of the department is, to work closely for right and development of Gender equity in rural and urban area country wide. The country was in civil war and conflict for decades. The result of these wars was poor socio-economic situation for women. They have been deprived of the right to get education or engage in any other economic and income generation activities. The year of domination has a negative impact in the whole region which increases poverty. Thus our women department will work on to protect women rights, reduce violence against women and try their best to provide privilege to women.
SDCO incorporates literacy numeracy programs in their projects wherever possible. Our purpose is to involve communities in educational efforts and direct them towards professional education and skills to support the young generation. This component will enable the beneficiaries to keep and track on their day to day businesses record and conduct calculations in business transactions.
These efforts will capacitate the target individuals with the skills to read and right. Also the different groups i.e. businessmen, entrepreneurs, farmers etc; in the society will be provided with trainings in relevant field to enhance their capacity level in building profitable business.
